The Course

Built in 1960. Still a gem.

Laid out across gently rolling terrain by celebrated Ohio architects Jack Kidwell and Dr. Michael Hurdzan, Twin Lakes plays 6,343 yards from the tips to a par of 71 — with the two namesake lakes putting a little pressure on your approach when you least expect it.

The fairways are mature, the greens hold, and the pace is friendly. Whether you're chasing your personal best or just out for a relaxed nine after work, there's a tee box here that fits your game.

Know before you go

Local Rules & Course Policies

USGA Rules govern all play. Yardage markers are to the center of the green. The local rules below keep play fair and the pace moving.

Out of Bounds

Parking lot, white stakes, and fence lines. A ball hit out of bounds may be laid out two club-lengths from the point where it went out — penalty one stroke.

Water Hazard

Players hit from the designated drop area. After hitting two balls into the water, carry your ball across the water — you're hitting six.

Ball Striking Wires

A ball that strikes the overhead wires may be replayed with no penalty.

Protective Screen

A ball hitting the protective screen gets a free drop — move one club-length, no nearer the hole.

Sprinkler Heads

If a sprinkler head interferes with your line of putt, the ball may be placed at the nearest point of relief, no nearer the hole.

Carts

90° rule in effect. Keep all carts at least 20 feet from tees and greens.

A few house rules

Pace of play: players lose their right of way when there is one clear hole ahead.
No personal coolers.
No outside alcoholic beverages may be brought to the course — it's the law.
Players who make themselves objectionable or fail to observe course regulations may be denied the privileges of the course.
